A flamingo-shaped drone heads east and loses altitude every second of the flight. The only thing that lifts it is the match-3 board at the bottom of the screen: every stack of cash you clear is another $1,000 of grant money pork-barrelled into altitude. Four in a row also drops a bomb on whatever is coming up.

Two or three minutes, and every rooftop is a deadline

The sink accelerates. The first minute is gentle; by the second you are falling 27 metres a second. A red alarm across the top of the screen lights up when the silhouette ahead is going to be too tall.
